The Irabor-Ojo Foundation is a registered non-profit organisation dedicated to fighting hunger and uplifting lives across Nigeria. Our core mission is simple but powerful: to feed as many people as possible, improve well-being, and spread hope—one meal, one smile at a time.

Meet the Founder – Irene Irabor

Hello, I’m Irene Irabor, the founder of Irabor-Ojo Foundation. I was born to Nigerian parents—my father from Ekpoma, and my mother from Benin City. I grew up in a home where giving was a way of life. My parents inspired me deeply through their unwavering generosity.

Our doors were always open, and guests never left empty-handed. My mother, especially, had a heart of gold—she gave freely, joyfully, and often to strangers. She would always say, “God loves a cheerful giver,” and she truly lived by those words.

Her example shaped my values and planted the seed that grew into this foundation.

Seeing the struggles many Nigerians face today—especially the challenge of putting food on the table—compelled me to take action. I founded this organisation as a way to give back, to honour my parents’ legacy, and to support those in need throughout Benin City and across Nigeria.
